Seasonal cleansing helps to reset our diet and lifestyle in preparation for the coming season and guide the doshas back to a state of harmony so that digestion, assimilation, and elimination all function properly. According to Ayurveda, the junction between the seasons is the optimal time to rid the body of toxins which may accumulate due to stress, fatigue, poor diet, trauma, or blocked emotions. Some signs of imbalance include: fatigue, exhaustion, headaches, poor elimination, poor digestion (bloating, gas, belching), allergies, weakened immune system, skin conditions, unpleasant body odor, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. This is an opportunity to adopt a simpler diet, nourish the body and mind and let go of old habits or patterns in order to come closer to your true nature.
The cleanse only lasts eight days and incorporates internal oleation, to loosen impurities lodged in the cells, external oleation or oil massage, to improve circulation, and a simple diet and herbal supplements designed to enkindle digestion. In addition, daily physical exercise and journaling are encouraged. The cleanse fee includes a two hour workshop to introduce you to the process, demonstrate practices, and answer questions, a detailed cleanse outline and schedule, recipes and resources, daily inspiration, private facebook group forum and daily email support for questions and concerns throughout the cleanse.
Note: If the group cleanse dates do not work with your schedule feel free to attend the workshop and do the cleanse at your convenience.
