Sasha has experienced the benefits of Ayurveda first  hand and believes that awareness of the energetics in and around us combined with conscious and holistic dietary and lifestyle choices can lead to deep healing. Sasha seeks to empower her clients through trust and compassion as well as personalized and practical tools aimed at alleviating pain and promoting long term stability. Removing pain and suffering allow us to live life more fully and focus our attention on discovering our true potential. Sasha began practicing Ashtanga Yoga  with her teacher, Christine Hoar, in 2009. A dedicated practice developed into a path and Sasha has continued to learn about and incorporate the teachings of Ashtanga Yoga into her life ever since. She has studied with Nancy Gilgoff, David Swenson and Shelley Washington. In 2012, Sasha traveled to Mysore, India to study with Sharath Jois. She feels blessed to be a part of the Ashtanga Yoga lineage and honored to share the gift of this practice with others. Sasha teaches with compassion for the individual and a quiet strength. She uses hands on adjustments to guide the body without distracting the mind.  The precision, rhythm, and focus of  Ashtanga continue to inspire Sasha during her daily practice. Sasha is a Yoga Alliance 200-hr RYT (Registered  Yoga Teacher). She lives and practices in Seattle, WA where she blogs about sustainable, plant based eating, Ayurveda and wellness at TENDING the TABLE.
